FULLER CRAFT MUSEUM
Exhibition dates: January 27 – April 28, 2024
Color is a powerful tool used by artists to evoke emotions, portray mood, convey narratives, and create visual impact. Pop!: Color Stories from the Permanent Collection celebrates objects from Fuller Craft Museum’s permanent collection that demonstrate compelling approaches to color, from the purely aesthetic to the deeply conceptual. Featuring a rainbow of tones and a range of craft media, Pop! paints a vibrant picture of the power of color in modern craft. Exhibited works include Vivian Beer’s Red Rocker No. 2, Hilary McLaughlin’s Yellow Tornado Jar, Yoko Shimizu’s Green Squares, Marion Lang’s Peacock Plate – Blue, and more.
