The Randolph Chamber of Commerce recently signed an affiliation agreement with the Metro South Chamber of
Commerce, joining the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce, Norwell Chamber of Commerce, Bridgewater Business Association, East Bridgewater Business Association and the Avon Industrial Park Association who also have affiliations with the Metro South Chamber of Commerce.
The organizations will share information regarding issues and initiatives of regional concern such as wastewater, water supply, transportation, regional competitiveness and economic / workforce development. In addition, each organization will provide reciprocal member rates and preferences for each others’ members. Communications will
incorporate items of interest from each organization and relevant information will be shared on an on-going basis.
“The Randolph Chamber of Commerce is very excited to be affiliated with the Metro South Chamber of Commerce. The
opportunity to attend each others’ programs will offer great benefits and provide broader networking opportunities that could lead to more businesses working together. Everybody wins,” said Linda Werman, President of the
Randolph Chamber of Commerce.
The agreement is the result of a regional business association and chamber’s meeting held last summer. Additional business organizations in Brockton, Easton, and Canton have all been approached to adopt similar agreements
at this time.
“Regional thinking and action is essential in addressing the needs of our area now and into the future. Sustainability of
services is dependent upon creating solutions tied to efficiency and economies of scale,” said Metro South
Chamber President and CEO Christopher Cooney.
