More Room to Grow: Nath Academy Opens Expanded Brockton Location

Celebrating a new chapter in early childhood education in Brockton #WhereBetterBegins

On May 16, community leaders, educators, and supporters gathered at 210 Quincy Avenue in Brockton to celebrate a milestone for local early education—the grand opening of Nath Academy Learning Center’s new, expanded location. Hosted in partnership with the Metro South Chamber of Commerce, the ribbon-cutting ceremony marked not just a move, but a major upgrade.

Founded by Jean and Claudie Philemond, Nath Academy has long been a trusted name in early childhood education. With over 25 years of experience, Director Claudie Philemond has led the center with a focus on nurturing growth, embracing diversity, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for every child.

This new location is a testament to that mission. The larger facility offers more space for learning and exploration, along with a beautiful new outdoor area designed to give children more room to play, grow, and connect with nature.

The event welcomed a number of distinguished guests, including State Representatives Michelle DuBois and Rita Mendes, State Senator Michael Brady, Courtney Henderson from the Mayor’s Office, and officials from the South Eastern Economic Development (SEED) Corporation which played a key role in financing the project. Their presence underscored the collaborative spirit behind this expansion and the importance of investing in early childhood education.

Guests enjoyed guided tours of the updated facility, met the passionate staff, and heard firsthand how this new space will better serve local families. The bright and colorful facility evoked palpable enthusiasm, as the Brockton community continues to rally around educational initiatives that support its youngest residents.
