Mother’s Daughter Juice + Wellness Bar owner, Chandra Gouldrup – best known as the visionary behind the beloved Farmer’s Daughter restaurant in Easton (and its second location in Sudbury) – is one of the region’s most passionate and respected farm-to-table chefs. The daughter of a Sicilian mother with a love for comfort food and a Maine potato farmer father, Chandra has always prioritized cooking with the freshest local ingredients.
Now, Chandra brings her passion and purpose to Brockton, opening the doors to a wellness-focused, flavor-forward, and heart-centered café that reflects her lifelong journey rooted in family, food, and fresh beginnings. Mother’s Daughter Juice + Wellness Bar deepens her commitment to clean, conscious eating, serving up cold-pressed juices, smoothies, coffee, tea, specialty lattes, and vibrant fresh salads – crafted without refined sugars, seed oils, or gluten. The menu features an abundance of plant-based and vegan options, ensuring there’s something for everyone – whether you’re committed to a healthy lifestyle or just beginning the journey.
“Mother’s Daughter Juice + Wellness is true to its name – I am my mother’s daughter,” says Chandra, who lost her inspirational mother to cancer. In her mother’s honor, Chandra channels grief into purpose, dedicating this new community-centered space to the woman who taught her about the healing power of food – and how nourishing ourselves can uplift our families, our communities, and our world.
“Mother’s Daughter Juice is here to spread that message with every plate of salad, every smoothie, and every juice,” she adds.
Conveniently located next to G. Norwood Landscaping & Garden Center at the corner of Torrey and Pearl Streets in Brockton, Chandra also plans to collaborate with the nursery – envisioning the integration of fresh, hyper-local ingredients grown on-site.
We were joined by Brockton School Committee member Tim Sullivan and Brockton City Councilor Moises Rodrigues who offered congratulatory remarks and thanks for choosing Brockton as home to her business. Senator Mike Brady’s Office and State Rep Bridget Plouffe’s Office were also in attendance.
Mother’s Daughter Juice + Wellness Bar is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Online ordering is available at www.mdjuicewell.com. Now offering catering!
