On August 26, 2025, the Metro South Chamber of Commerce joined Comcast for a ribbon cutting at the Xfinity Store, 200 Westgate Drive, Brockton, celebrating the store’s exciting remodel and upgrades.
Originally opened in 2015, the Brockton location is one of the first Xfinity stores in the country to transition into a new model store design, featuring an open layout, updated technology, and enhanced customer experiences. The remodel represents Comcast’s re-investment, re-commitment, and re-engagement with the Brockton community—ten years after first opening its doors.
Esmeralda Heredia, Xfinity Retail Market Manager, welcomed attendees and introduced the knowledgeable Brockton Xfinity team, a group of local experts ready to help customers understand and maximize their services. The refreshed space is designed to better serve the community, offering a welcoming environment and improved efficiency that helps provide greater savings and value for customers.
The celebration was also joined by State Representative Rita Mendes and members of the Office of Senator Michael D. Brady, who recognized Comcast’s business commitment to Brockton and thanked them for their continued investment in the community.
The unveiling of the remodel showcases Comcast’s long-term dedication to innovation, customer service, and community investment in Brockton. The Metro South Chamber of Commerce and Chamber Ambassadors are proud to celebrate this milestone and looks forward to continued partnership as businesses and residents benefit from these improvements.
