August 14, 2026 – TThe Metro South Chamber of Commerce joined local officials, community members, and supporters to celebrate the grand opening of Tropical Smoothie Cafe at 25 Robert Dr Unit C-9, South Easton, MA 02375.
The new cafe is co-owned by Anthony Vicente, Tony Vicente, and Ollie Spears, bringing the popular Tropical Smoothie Cafe brand to Easton. With more than 1,700 locations across the United States, the franchise is known for its menu of smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, bowls, and other fresh offerings. The new location provides another dining option for residents, families, and workers while adding a new business to Eastonís growing commercial community.
The grand opening brought together the owners, staff, local leaders, friends, and supporters to celebrate the occasion. Guests had the opportunity to experience the new location, meet the team, and enjoy an afternoon of food, entertainment, and community connection. The celebration also featured a performance by Carina Melodies, a Berklee College of Music student, adding live music to the festivities.
State Representative Bridget Plouffe attended the celebration and presented an official citation recognizing the opening. She was accompanied by Julie Smith from the office of State Representative Lisa Field, adding to the strong community support for the new business.
The opening represents another exciting addition to Eastonís business community and highlights the continued investment being made by local entrepreneurs throughout the Metro South region.
