Event Questions?

Be it blogs, posts, emails, proposals, or presentations, many people are not particularly good writers. They know it hurts their business but are intimidated or don’t know how to improve. Join us to see how it is easier than most realize by understanding “nobody reads anymore” and writing to minimize readers’ common challenges.

Take Aways:

1. Allocate your time and organize your thoughts

2. Simple, but important, concepts: BLOT, AAA, Readability, Sesquipedalian

3. Real examples, and follow-on help if desired

Meet Your Presenter:

Peter Poulin was a senior consulting partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte, where he helped lead many financial services organizations through change. Over three decades, he regularly wrote to persuade others on a variety of topics, and eventually developed a class to encourage and teach others to improve their business writing. Over time it has become apparent these concepts are as relevant for blogs, posts, emails, etc as for formal presentation, proposals, and letters.
