Visit the Region

Metro South offers an array of cultural and recreational activities available throughout the region. Visiting a community based historical museum, catching a Brockton Rox minor-league baseball game, or shopping at one of the region’s centers will provide you with hours of fun. The community-based symphony, the Children’s Museum in Easton, and the Fuller Art Museum provide a variety of cultural activities for people of all ages.The area is full of forests, wildlife, and lakes making sport and outdoor activities plentiful. At local municipal parks, residents can enjoy swimming, hiking, hunting, boating, and other sports. The Metro South is also home to several public and private golf courses and the abundance of lakes and ponds make it easy to find a place to fish. There are also terrific indoor facilities for tennis, racquetball, bowling, skating, and exercising. There is always plenty to do in the Metro South!
