Attorney General Martha Coakley has agreed to open an office at the Chamber’s building in the heart of Brockton. The office is expected to open by early July and will host the HomeCorps Loan Modification Initiative. The program will be coordinated by an Assistant Attorney General who is a specialist responsible for providing direct assistance to homeowners seeking loan modifications to avoid foreclosure. The office will be open five days per week and function full time to assist homeowners.
“The Chamber is pleased to provide space for this very important initiative. We are also happy to partner with the Attorney General to address this very important issue facing our communities, residents and the economy,” said Chamber president and CEO, Christopher Cooney.
