The Chamber’s first event of the year highlighted the Town of Easton as part of a series of community days focused on Metro South regional economic activity. The event featured two panels and keynote speaker, Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, offering attendees valuable insights into the region’s future.
A “New Faces Panel” introduced the community to emerging leaders: Stonehill College’s new Dean of the Meehan Business School, John Duggan, JD; new Brockton Rox General Manager, Shawn Reilly; and House of Possibilities CEO, Katie Terino. These speakers highlighted fresh perspectives and innovative initiatives shaping the Metro South community.
Next, an economic development panel focused on Easton’s 300th Anniversary and its impact on regional growth. Featuring Town Administrator Connor Read, Select Board Chair Dottie Fulginiti, and the new Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) Director for the Southeast Region, Jennifer Menard, the panel underscored the importance of strategic planning and investment in fostering economic vibrancy.
By spotlighting new leadership, celebrating Easton’s historic milestone, and providing a forum for collaboration, this Chamber event strengthened connections across the Metro South region. It underscored the region’s commitment to innovation, growth, and community-building, positioning Metro South as a dynamic hub of economic activity.
