The Metro South Chamber was proud to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of Allan Veterinary Clinic, marking the arrival of a compassionate, community-focused veterinary provider in Brockton.
Owned and operated by Dr. M. Allan-Motamed, the clinic represents both a professional milestone and a personal commitment to the community she has called home for more than 26 years. A Tufts-trained veterinarian with over two decades of experience, Dr. Allan-Motamed has served in local hospitals and shelter medicine, guided by a belief that pets are family and deserve thoughtful, transparent care.
After years of serving the region, she officially opened Allan Veterinary Clinic in January 2026, bringing her vision of a locally rooted, independently owned practice to life. Her goal is to provide affordable, personalized veterinary care while building lasting relationships with pet owners throughout the Metro South region.
The clinic offers a range of primary care services for dogs and cats, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, skin treatments, surgeries, spays and neuters, and telehealth consultations. With a focus on reducing stress for both pets and owners, the practice emphasizes clear communication, unrushed visits, and tailored treatment plans.
The ribbon cutting celebration brought together Chamber members, community supporters, and local leadership, including State Rep Rita Mendes and Mayor of Brockton Moises Rodrigues, who joined in welcoming this new addition to the city.
Deeply rooted in Brockton, Dr. Allan-Motamed has raised her family locally and remains committed to giving back through her workósupporting not only the health of pets, but the well-being of the families who care for them.
As Brockton and the broader Metro South region continue to grow, small businesses like Allan Veterinary Clinic play a vital role in strengthening the community by providing essential services, creating jobs, and enhancing quality of life. We are proud to welcome Allan Veterinary Clinic to the Metro South Chamber network and encourage the community to support this new, locally owned business dedicated to keeping our pets healthy and thriving.
