April 30, 2026 – Our latest Good Day Metro South session brought together business, civic, and community leaders for an Economic Development Luncheon hosted at The Arc of Greater Brockton. The event showcased the organization’s newly organized venue space while welcoming both familiar and new faces from across the region, reflecting continued momentum within the Metro South business community.
The program featured a robust panel discussion moderated by Bridgewater State University President Fred Clark, with panelists including South Shore Bank Chief Commercial Banking Officer Steve DiPrete, Massachusetts Office of Business Development Regional Director Alexandra Husted, and City of Brockton Director of Economic Development Dr. Eliza Wilson.
We were also joined by State Senator Bill Driscoll, whose district includes much of Metro South (Randolph, Stoughton, Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, and Easton). The Arc of Greater Brockton Executive Director Dean Rizzo welcomed attendees and spoke to the organization’s growing role as a community gathering space and workforce partner.
A “New Faces” segment also highlighted emerging regional leaders, including Brockton Rox General Manager Connor Carey, and Easton’s new Town Administrator Elizabeth Dennehy, underscoring the depth of leadership shaping the region’s future.
Attendees received a free sample of the ballpark exclusive “Rox Wicked Good Blonde Ale” custom beer by Black Hat Brew Works, made for the 2026 Brockton Rox season. Together, the program emphasized collaboration, economic opportunity, and the importance of strong partnerships as Metro South continues to grow and evolve. Cheers to Metro South!
